For certain is death for the born And certain is birth for the dead; Therefore over the inevitable Thou shouldst not grieve. Bhagavad Gita

I Love YOU always, RAY! Yolanda

This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Ray A. McCruse who was born in Houston, Texas on July 27, 1975 and passed away on November 29, 2006 at the age of 31. Ray was just what the "R" "A"  "Y" meant in his name, he was REMARKABLE, AWESOME,YOUNG AND ENERGETIC! He was loving, caring, thoughtful, tremendous, outgoing, humorous and was full of excitement. He was greatful of his Godmother whom he has joined once again, Mrs. Faye whom started his motivation in going to college. One of his biggest endeavors was to get his degree and help his mother, Doretha and then get one wish (a deepest wish) taken care of. Ray loved movies, shopping, going out to eat and socializing with his friends often. He also started his own business a couple of years ago which was currently going well for him. Ray was like an angel because whomever he came in contact with, loved him immediately. It didnt matter who it was from children to pets. He had a personality that was
extra-ordinary and you really had to know Ray to admit it! Ray throughout his mission in school and personal life constantly spoke about certain people whom he felt had his back all the way. Ray loved Texas Southern University and his classmates and they in return loved Ray! One thing that was admired by others about Ray, he wasnt stopping at nothing to finish school. Oh, yes he had his challenges of negative people, ups and downs but he didnt let that stop him! Excuses only make those who make them happy, YOU let nothing, no-one or nobody stop you from completing YOUR dreams,,was something Yolanda always told Ray! Motivation stood by Ray and he was definetly running for the finish line. Ray grew up as a busy child and an energetic little boy. He grew up with his big brother, Aaron, favorite cousins Synaca and Craig and his crew on the south side of Houston," DEAD END FOR LIFE" AS Ray always said and it seems he meant just that! Ray was currently attending T.S.U, working in the field of music, working with children, writing a book (will come out mid 2007),and working on some other personal goals he had. He couldnt wait to work with children because they kept him happy, too. He worked with children on a constant basis especially during summer breaks. Ray's neice "JAZZ" and three nephews were crazy about their Uncle Ray! Ray had his own children that were overwhelmed with joy whenever they saw their dad! Words alone cannot speak for how great of a person Ray truly was. Ray was known to many, but if you really KNEW Ray, he was one of the best people you could ever meet. He touched the lives of many and kept his happy spirit going throughout his acomplishments. You are the best "RAY" and will always be!. We miss you, dearly. If their was one wish we knew could come true-We would ask God for you back. Although, you are no longer with us-your spirits are. You, our RAY-RAY  will live forever in our memories and hearts. RAY A*k*A SNAKE, B*K*A MOON!  P. S. If love could have kept you here, you woudnt have never left! Your memories started before now and will continue to live own.
